YOUR MUSIC

YOUR Music:
Find the most appropriate music that reflects the themes of your adolescence.
Suppose your adolescence was being made into a movie. What music would you use to open while the credits are being shown? What song reflects the themes of you?

o The music with lyrics represents some aspect of the changes in your adolescence – emotional changes, social changes or physical changes.

o Your selection could include thoughts and feelings about peers, parents, the opposite sex, yourself………. Whatever you think is appropriate for the in-between time of leaving childhood and entering adulthood.

o You need to share the music with the class on your blog site providing the lyrics and if possible a hyper link to a performance of the song (maybe on YouTube).

o You need to justify your choice in a paragraph explaining how the lyrics reflect you and why you chose this song.
The paragraph will be on your blog.(Remember, a topic sentence..hook, good sound reasons with examples/details and a concluding sentence.)

Ensure that the language in your selection is appropriate for the classroom!
You can work alone, in a partnership or in a threesome
But it must appear on all your blogs

Lighthouses and Sunrises

A lighthouse lights up the night sky. Sunrise brings light to the new day. Books light up my life! They make me laugh, cry, giggle, dream, remember. They make me feel so sad, lucky, happy, amazed, incredulous, in awe of others and what they do. Books educate me on all sorts of things; people, events, places, history, health. Books make me think!
